Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Cachora – Chiquisca

In Cachora we will meet our muleteers, mules and horses that will transport the equipment and food during the trip. After lunch we will start the walk towards Chikiska. After approximately two hours of walking along a path among the native vegetation, we arrive at the Capuliyoc viewpoint, from where we will observe the majesty of the Can del Apurimac. Then we will descend until we reach the Chikiska campsite. (1,500m.s.n.m).
Day 3: Choquequirao – Picha Unuyoc
After breakfast we will begin the ascent to the main sector of the archaeological complex of Choquequirao, where we will have a guided visit to the sectors of the colcal sun worshiping granaries, etc. To later return to the camp for lunch and start the walk to the Pinchuyoc Uno sector where we will camp on the Inca cultivation terraces (2,435 m.a.s.l.).
Day 4: Picha Unuyoc – Maizal
After breakfast we start the descent walk until we reach the Rio Blanco valley where we will take a restorative bath in the crystalline melt waters of the snow-capped mountains that form the river, have lunch and then begin the ascent to the Maizal camp, arriving at approximately 4 o’clock. in the afternoon to see the beautiful sunset in the middle of the Peruvian Andes.
Day 5: Maizal – Yanama
This morning we will start the walk along a path among the dense vegetation of a humid forest, and then arrive at the Victoria Mine, where we will have lunch, observing the majestic snow-capped mountains and the Peruvian Andes then we will continue walking along an Inca trail that is still used by the inhabitants of the area until reaching the Yanama camp (4,800 meters above sea level).
Day 6: Yanama – Totora
We start the walk in the middle of the mountain range, we have lunch in the Yanama pass sector, we continue the bed and we arrive at the Totora camp.
Day 7: Totora – Playa Sahuayacu
We begin the descent through the sector of the jungle eyebrow, until we reach the Colpapampa sector where we will have lunch, then we continue the trip through the dense vegetation where we observe waterfalls of water, native flora and fauna until we arrive at the Sahuayacu beach sector where our hike ends with a dancing bonfire and beer at will.
Day 8: Sahuayacu Beach – Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes
Very early we board a car heading to the town of Santa Teresa, after having breakfast we will start the walk towards the Machupicchu Hydroelectric plant. Having lunch we will board the train heading to Aguas Calientes, where we will stay overnight.
Day 9: Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu – Cusco
Having breakfast very early, we will take the Bus to the Archaeological Site of Machupicchu, there we will have a guided tour of the entire archaeological site then they will have free time to, and if they wish we can go up to Huayna Picchu. In the afternoon we will return to Aguas Calientes, to board the train to Cusco, where we will arrive at approximately 8 p.m.
